• Hi Mads - Model GSS25IYNFS has touch pads to select Water (no sensor), Crushed Ice and Cubes. This model does not feature Hands- Free Auto Fill (sensors). Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

• Push button. But it is a flat service. And there is a light over which one your using. So far we love it. The 6 yr old can get his own drink of water with ice no problem. Lol
