Open the ice door and there is a lever you raise up. Open the door. You will raise the ice storage up and out. Sometimes you my jiggle the unit but it will come out. This way you can fill up a ice chest for traveling. Make sure you put it back the same way. Once you do it a few times it's like old school method.
