A:AnswerHi Ron-this is Sue from GE Appliances. Once prepped for built-in installation, the unit will install just like any other standard tub model in our current lineup. Those models require a minimum of 34” from the floor to the underside of the countertop. Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerHello nahurry - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Because this is a portable dishwasher, it is a little taller than most dishwashers. Most dishwashers run about 34" high. This dishwasher is 36-3/8" high. I hope this helps and we wish you the best! Thanks for checking with us!

A:AnswerIt clicks onto a provided adapter that replaces the aerator in the kitchen faucet and drains into the kitchen sink. The hoses and power cord retract into the cabinet for storage. The adapter will work with a Pure water filter but not a Brita. We had to replace ours.

A:AnswerHi Lisa - The Conversion Kit WD35M34 is necessary for built-in installation. Purchase online at GEApplianceparts.com: https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WD35M34?SpecType=SpecType - Thanks for choosing GE! Sue
A:AnswerHi Patty- The faucet adapter is designed to fit standard spouts having internal or external threads. An aerator adapter is supplied with each portable dishwasher. Remove the existing strainer or aerator and screw on the aerator adapter. It fits most standard faucet spouts. Aerator faucet adapter adapts your kitchen faucet to accept the dishwasher hose connection. Reduces splashing in the sink when dishwasher is not hooked-up. Unicouple slips onto the aerator adapter and locks into place to supply hot water to the dishwasher through the top hose. Used water drains through the lower hose and out the bottom of the Unicouple into the sink. Unicouple faucet adapter provides simple, quick connect and disconnect of hot water to dishwasher. Pressure-release valve lets you disconnect hose from faucet without splashing. We hope this is helpful. Check out the Installation Instructions online: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-31571.pdf - Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! SUEatGEA
A:AnswerHi Podlover- Yes, detergent pods/tabs can be used in the dishwasher. When using automatic dishwashing detergent tabs, such as Finish® Quantum® Powerball®, simply place one tab in the main cup and close. Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! SUEatGEA
