For easy movement, the leveling legs can be fully retracted so the unit is sitting on wheels. If transporting, the refrigerator can be moved on it's side. However, we recommend standing the refrigerator upright before connecting to power, for an equal amount of time that it was on it's side, up to 24 hours. The refrigerator weighs 152 lbs.
