I have one kitchen oven, and want a second one for holidays. Can i simply purchase this and use in my garage? is there anything that needs to be done other than plugging in to a socket? null

All you have to do is plug in in a 3 wire plug.

Hi Wanda - The range requires a UL Listed 40 AMP, 3-Wire or 4-Wire Range Cord (sold separately). Make sure the wall covering, flooring, cabinets etc. around the range can withstand the heat (up to 200°F) generated by the range. To reduce the risk of tipping the range, the range must be secured by a properly installed anti-tip bracket (included).
