“Are the grates really dishwasher safe. The description and pictures implied they are. The GE website says they are only dishwasher safe if they are coated with enamel. Mine are not . So does this mean mine are NOT dishwasher safe?”

Hi Kashi, thanks for reaching out! Grates should be washed regularly in hot soapy water, rinsed in clean water, and dried before placing them back on range. Grates and caps can be cleaned in dishwasher as long as they are enamel coated on the bottom. If your grates are not enamel coated, then we would not recommend washing them in the dishwasher.
