A:AnswerYes, but it's a bit non-traditional. The broiler is in the bottom (where a lot of stove/ovens just have a storage drawer - this sis the broiler and we actually haven't used it once yet in the 4 months we've owned it. But We love the pancake griddle!
A:AnswerHi there,
Based on our research, you are not able to bake and broil simultaneously. You would need to choose either to bake your food or to broil it. For more information you can view your Owner's Manual here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-1.pdf - We hope that this helped! Thank you very much for your question. -MS

A:AnswerThe top gets pretty warm because there is a oven vent there; but I'm pretty sure you are concerned about the sides which don't get very hot (they are insulated), which is why there is minimal clearance. Wonderful range BTW.
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for reaching out, this is a really good question. This model range has a non-stick aluminum griddle. The grates are cast iron. Please reach out to us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram if any other questions come up. Thanks for asking! -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerYes, the installation was part of the sale. ComEd has a $50 rebate to haul away. Or if you have ppl how recycle metal. Why pay to haul where someone can haul away for free
A:AnswerHi Candi- In the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners with a match. The oven is lit by electric ignition, eliminating the need for standing pilots and cannot be lit without power. We suggest our Hotpoint® 30" Free-Standing Gas Range with Cordless Battery Ignition RGBS200DMWW. Battery powered ignition safely and conveniently lights the burners without the need for electrical outlet. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerHello liz,

A:AnswerHey there, we'll be happy to provide you with some additional details. A:AnswerHello- Thank you for your question. We don't recommend using your broiler drawer to store pots and pans. It could accidentally be turned on and damage the drawer if the pot or pan handle melted. We can only recommend storing a clean broil pan in the drawer. If you have any additional questions in the future, please let us know. We are happy to help! Joyce@GEA
A:AnswerHi there - Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing your feedback! Ranges have an oven vent to help vent hot air and steam while cooking in the oven. On gas ranges, the oven vents out of the center of the backsplash area, underneath the control panel. This will cause that area of your cooktop to feel very warm, however, it shouldn't cause the knobs to be so hot you're not able to touch them. If you still feel there is an issue, we recommend reaching out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking with us! - Sharon@GEA
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question and for providing these pictures. Yes, this hole that you have noticed is normal and is part of its design. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or concerns as we are always here to help! -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerHello! We appreciate your question and are happy to help. We found that this unit does not have numbers on the knobs. For range's that do have numbers on the knobs, the numbers do not have a specific heat setting that go along with them. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at our social pages. Keep in touch! Emily@GEA
