Hi - Black Slate/Slate is a highly engineered, low-gloss matte metallic paint finish that will hold a magnet. Black Slate is an extension of the Slate finish family from GE Appliances. It is a deep charcoal color. Its unique matte finish hides fingerprints and virtually eliminates smudges. The Black Slate painted finish also has a small amount of gloss for that sparkly reflection in the light.
