We always recommend disconnecting the power by flipping off the breaker and turning off the light switch. You'll remove the light cover, unscrew the light, counterclockwise to unlock the light and pull out. Replace the new light of the same type (standard incandescent), making sure the socket is properly inserted into the housing of the lamp holder. Please review page 8 in the manual for more details.
