“Height without legs This range is just a tad too tall for my space. What would the height be if it was installed without the screw in legs or "feet"???”

Hi Roscoe-this is Sue from GE Appliances. Thanks for your interest! The Overall Height is 47 in. The Height to Cooking Surface (in.) is 35 3/4 - 36 1/2. The Height measurements provided are based on the legs set in the shortest position (screwed all the way in.) We do not recommend the range legs be removed for any reason.
