Are the shelves adjustable and do the slide out null

The shelves can slide out but they are not adjustable.

Hi HOTBOB - The wooden shelves in the beverage and wine center are removable for easy cleaning and for storing larger items. They are not adjustable. To remove a shelf, open the door completely to avoid potential damage to the shelf. Lift slightly and pull the shelf forward.
