A:AnswerHi mrsed - Thank you for your patience. We truly appreciate you considering this fantastic top-freezer refrigerator for your home and are happy to tell you more about these finishes! The beautiful Slate finish is inspired by the rich texture of stone and is similar to a taupe gray color. It has a warm, matte texture that blends with every material and color and is versatile with every style. It has stainless accents and the sides, case and accent parts are a dark Dorian Gray for easy color coordination. The distinctive Black Slate finish is a deep charcoal color with a small amount of gloss to create a sparkly reflection in the light. It includes black stainless handles that perfectly complement the stainless accents founds on your other appliances. Both appearances offer you a unique matte finish that helps to hide fingerprints and smudges to keep your appliances looking clean. We are sorry to hear of the trouble you have had in seeing these finishes in person and sincerely hope that these descriptions help to clarify! Please feel free to reach out to us via our Contact Us page online if you have any additional questions. -Eliza@GEA

A:AnswerGreetings,
We'll be happy to answer this question! Extreme temperatures outside the temperature range will affect cooling, causing the unit to be less efficient. Below 32 °F, there is no cooling capability at all. At temperatures exceeding 110°F, there is a possibility of the oil overheating and breaking down, thus damaging the compressor or sealed system. Let us know if you have additional questions. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerNo. The installers did NOT put the handles on. They were inebriated and did a poor job. Expect to put the handles on yourself. Not hard to do. If you need to have the doors switched around, good luck with that. This is the second time where I have had installers be under the influence (of not only alcohol) and do a poor job. Best Buy needs to hire better contractors. Wish you the best of luck.
