The exhaust hose doesn’t seem to heat up much at all, just the air is warm.

Depends how long you run it and the heated air you’re displacing. I found it warm/hot when I would move to adjust it. But it didn’t factor into making the room warm at the same time trying to cool.

Good day,

It is normal for the exhaust hose to get warm since it is removing warm air. We do not have a temperature range for the exhaust hose. If you feel the unit is overheating, try turning it off for a while to let it cool down and then resume power. If it continuously overheats, we recommend contacting 800-432-2737 for warranty options if the unit is still under warranty. Hope this is helpful. Mike@GEA
