“My existing cut-out is 19 7/8 x 34 3/4 for a 36inch cooktop. Will this GE model fit? I see there is an extension kit for 30" model but no mention for 36"”

Hi ds - - Thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience! We appreciate your interest in this electric cooktop and are happy to offer you some guidance in this. The required cutout dimensions for this cooktop are 19-1/8" depth x 33-7/8" width. Given that your current cutout is slightly larger, unfortunately this cooktop will not properly fit. - We do offer a cooktop filler kit for 30" cooktops that can be used for replacing a larger cooktop with a smaller one that requires a smaller cutout in the counter; however, there is not a filler kit for 36" cooktops.
