• A:Answer Hi wormink - This range has a lower broiler drawer. Only a clean broil pan should be stored in the broiler drawer. No other items should be stored in the broiler drawer of a gas range when not in use. We also offer GE® 30" Free-Standing Gas Range JGB635DEKWW. Q: QuestionDo you offer a stove that has a pilot? We are off grid so anything with electric ignite will not work.

• A:Answer This stove is not Energy Star certified. Energy Star certification can be found in the specifications section. They are not required on stoves. This stove is compliant with California prop 65. If the product is not compliant, there will be a warning.

• A:Answer Hi Candi- The cooktop burners and oven operate on Natural gas (LP Conversion Kit included if converted to LP). It also requires a 120V 15 Amp electric circuit to operate the electronic ignition. The automatic pilotless ignition (also called automatic electric or automatic electronic ignition) eliminates the need to light the burners. It also saves money by using less gas than a standing pilot range. Because this system has no standing pilot light, no gas is being used unless it is needed. With the spark igniter system, electricity simply sparks when the control is turned to the LITE position. Gas is simultaneously released and ignites when it comes in contact with the spark. Should there be a power failure, the oven will not function but the burners may be lit with a match. The glo-bar in the oven will cycle on and off with the oven temperature. When it cycles on to heat, the gas valve opens and the gas is ignited. When the oven is at temperature, the gas valve closes there are no longer flames. You only uses gas and see flames in the oven when the oven is actively heating. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA

• A:Answer Fault codes are programmed in all GE Appliance brand range and wall oven models which feature electronic oven controls. The F1 code usually means that there is an issue problem with the key panel. It may mean that the key panel needs to be replaced. Please disconnect power to your range for a minute or two before restoring power. This may reset the internal circuitry and resolve the issue. If the code comes back, service may be needed. Please reach out to our Bodewell service team at 1-833-426-3393 to schedule an appointment. They can examine and confirm the repair work needed.
