“I just purchased this chest freezer and it’s working great, however I noticed two pin size holes on the gasket seal (one each side near the hinges). Does anyone know if this is normal and if it will impact the chest freezer, ice buildup,etc. Thanks.”

Hello JSJSJS331, Thank you for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. These holes are for vacuum release. The lid of the unit would be very difficult to open without these holes.
