“There are spots on the range top that I can't get off. Sort of like grease spots. Have tried all sorts of cleaning products to no avail. Also the coils have grease spots on them How to clean them?”

We had glue on our range from the paperwork that was taped to it. I used Goo Gone and all was well. Not sure if that might be your problem.
