Hello, thank you for your question. The Sensi-Temp burners will operate differently than regular burners. They will monitor the temperature of the food you are preparing and will shut off and turn back on regularly to maintain safe cooking temperatures. They also require the use of completely flat cookware to operate properly. There is not a brand that we recommend over another, as the design of the cookware is what will determine their effectiveness.
