No. You have to use button on top control panel.

Hello- Thank you for your interest in our Free-Standing Gas Range. This is a great model and we know you will love it if you decide to purchase it. This model has a light switch on the control panel for you to manually turn it on. It doesn't turn on automatically when opening the door. This is good because you'll be able to turn on the oven light and look through the window at the food without having to open the door. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know.
