“Your ad says ...will fit in old "free standing" cutout. How does the oven fit if the the old range is NOT free standing but slide in with counter running at the back of the range? I saw install diagram but not clear about fit. Must know before purchase!!”

Hi - The GE Profile™ Series Slide-In Front Control Induction and Convection Range is designed to fit nearly flush at the rear wall with standard 25" deep countertops. It will not fit properly in a space where there is counter at the back of the range. I have included the page which shows the dimensions so you can measure for yourself. If you need more info, you can download the entire document from GE's website. We installed our range as a replacement for a slide-in, and there was no problem. Also, there are trim attachments available at extra cost to cover gaps if your current opening is wider.
