Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.What is the distance from the top of the range to the bottom of your countertop? The back 2" or so of the range is a vent for the oven. I'm no expert, but if the distance is short I would think twice about it. The air coming out of the vent isn't incredibly hot, but repeated exposure to the hot air might not be good for the countertop. Maybe go into your local store and ask an associate. I've gotten good information from the people at my local BB. My 2 cents.
