Hello Gammy - Thank you for your interest; we are happy to help! All of our new slide-in ranges can be installed so that the coooktop surface is flush with the counter, however, we do not have any models that overlap and sit on the counter. Filler pieces are optional for appearance if you choose not use them. We hope this information is helpful. Thank very much for your question! Olga
