“Will this crush ice for drinks without making snow for snow cones. I had an Oster that did but put a hole in itself twice, so is this durable if all you use it for is to crush ice once a day”

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to ask. This unit actually has a Crushed Ice mode that you can turn on and off. With the knob set to any speed position, you can hold the "On/Off" button down for 3 seconds to initiate an ice crushing mode. Do note that this is a set speed not influenced by the speed the knob was set to when holding the start button. Hope this is helpful for you! Cheers. -Michael@GEA
