Yes it displays the current humidity level. I have mine set to 45% and it runs continuously until that level is reached. I have noticed that with this one the fan will still run for some time after the compressor kicks off once it gets there. My old one didn't do that. Everything stopped then kicked back on when it was needed. This one, the fan seldom shuts down once the desired humidity level is reached. It's the only con on this model I have cuz otherwise it's great!!!

Then, it shows the actual (+/– 5% accuracy) room percentage humidity level. If the unit will not shut off when bucket is full or when air reaches desired set point then it is not operating properly. You may try to reset the unit by disconnecting power for 30 seconds and re-connecting the power. - If this does not help, please refer to the warranty on page 11 of your Use and Care manual. If the unit is out of warranty and in need of a repair check with local servicers to see if they service dehumidifiers. Our service team does not service dehumidifiers.
