Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us at GE Appliances. We are happy to hear of your interest in this amazing dehumidifier. This is a great question and we are here to help. This model does not have a drain pump option but, it does have a drain hose option. Dehumidifiers have a drain connection which can be connected to a standard garden hose (not included). This allows collected water to continuously drain to a floor drain. The unit drains by gravity, so the hose needs to be laying flat on the ground and should be cut to the shortest length possible. To use: Remove the bucket from the front of the unit. Open the drain cover on the back of the unit. Thread a standard garden hose onto the drain nozzle.
