Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Is the hose below where it attaches, if not the water will default into the bucket. We had that happen at first. Since it is a gravity the dehumidifier has to be higher than the drain and the hose must be all downhill from the unit to the drain.

Please try again later.If the hose is fully screwed on and the water is still falling into the bucket, check to make sure the hose is properly screwed on to the unit and is set to drain downwards. If the hose starts to have an upwards slant to it along the drain way, it can cause the water to flow backwards into the bucket. It can also be the little o-ring to create a seal in broken or missing in the end of the hose being used.
