“I have lost the manual and cannot figure out how to clean or replace the filter. I have tried to go online and print another but even though they say free there are fees. Where is the filter. Does it get cleaned or replaced? My model is ADEL50LYL1.”

Pull out the water collection drawer in the front. Now feel up under the lip of the front panel and you will find the filter. It is thin and sits right behind the front panel. Pull it down to remove. Rinse under water until clear, air dry and replace by pushing it up into place. Put the water collection drawer back in tightly or else the machine will not run.

Grasp the filter edge, and pull it straight down and out. To clean the filter: Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it.
