Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello - We are sorry to hear your dehumidifier is not collecting water. You do not have to change the filter, you can just clean it. If the dehumidifier is not collecting water, the unit is not operating properly. Try to reset the dehumidifier by disconnecting power for 30 seconds and re-connecting the power. If the unit is still not collecting water, please refer to the model's warranty located in the Owner's Manual. If the unit is out of warranty and in need of a repair, check with local servicers to see if they service dehumidifiers. Please note that there are not repair parts for dehumidifiers, and GE Appliances Factory Service does not service dehumidifiers. We apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. Olga@GEA
