Hey Tim, I have the same unit and although it takes a minute or two for the compressor to cycle it should blow cold air after that. I’d start simple with the filter first and work from there. Best Buy is really good with returns and depending on how long ago you purchased the unit you can either return for a swap or call GE direct. No mass produced product will have 100% of their product problem free so you might also just be one of the unlucky ones that got a defective unit or it may have been damaged in shipping or something. My advice would be to check the filter, check to make sure you’re not on “fan” or “Econ”, and if you still aren’t getting cold air after it being on low, med, or high after a minute or two take it in for swap or replacement of a different unit.
