Hello, thank you for your question. The window panel can be installed in a window with a minimum 20” (55.88 cm) to a maximum 46” (121.92 cm) opening. We hope this helps! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It says 46” but becomes unstable at 42”. Suggest buying 3 rd part portable ac window kit online. You can also make window space smaller with styrofoam from box or 2 x 6 No manufacturer has great fitting part for window
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great unit. The window adapter for inside measurement of window 42” is stretched to max and has no locking mechanism on part. It becomes unstable in the window. That being said it is worth the effort to purchase a portable ac window kit by third part that works for your sliding door or window dimensions. If money is tight...use the styrofoam that came with the unit to make your window opening smaller for a tight fit. No manufacturer in market has a great window fit
