If it is still in the warranty period, contact GE. They will make it right. Just went through this exact thing with another model!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. We appreciate you contacting us, though we truly hate to hear you’ve had an issue with the air conditioner not going into cool mode; we know how frustrating this must be to deal with and regret any inconvenience caused. For an issue with cooling, we would generally advise making sure the temperature setting is low enough to cool, the air filters are clean, etc. If it won’t go into Cool mode at all and as you’ve already tried the Reset button, we would recommend reviewing the other Troubleshooting Tips available on page 13 of the manual (linked here: https://files.bbystatic.com/1N8bHin0%2FZSA%2FLsdoYIGpg%3D%3D/B54C1184-DEC4-48A9-98BA-C23290D37094.pdf) to see if any of those tips may help. If you are unable to resolve the issue there is also information on the one-year limited warranty on page 15 of the manual. We hope this is corrected for you soon. We’re always happy to assist if you have any other concerns or questions, and wish you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
