“Is it normal for unit to shut off when in cool mode - not just compressor, but fan too? I used the unit for the first time last night. It ran continuously from 9 pm until 5 am when it shut off. Turned it on again and it shut down 5 min later.”

• Yes - unit will turn off blower when the set temperature is reached - then automatically turn back on when above (i.e. warmer) the set temp. (Nice feature!)

• Irritating to have unit start and start. You wake up every time. My RV stays on, just the compressor goes on and off, irritating too, but at least you do not have noise then complete silence, then noise again. Does anyone make AC with an optional constant fan?

• Yes, the unit turns off when room is at set temp. Once the room warms up it turns back on just like one in an rv.
