The information about accessing the special features menu is incorrect in the documentation that came with the range and in the owner's manual online and also in the answer given by the GE representative in the previous response. I could not access the special features menu even after spending 30 minutes on the phone with the GE support desk. I set up a repair appointment, but just now someone from GE called me to explain that the correct way to access the menu is to hold down the Bake and Warm keypads on the Lower Oven control pad. That worked for me so the service call was not needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My apologies for putting out incorrect information in my previous answer to this question. The correct method for accessing the special features menu is to simultaneously hold the BAKE and WARM keypads on the UPPER oven display. So sorry for the confusion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Angelo, Thank you for reaching out to us about this amazing range. We are sorry to hear that you have been having trouble accessing your special features and can understand how frustrating this must be. We are happy to help with this. To change the settings of these special features: Press the lower oven Bake and Broil pads at the same time and hold until the special features menu is displayed. - Use the 3 or 8 number pads to scroll through the special features until the desired feature is displayed. -Press the 0 number pad to enter into the feature’s menu and scroll through the options. -Once the desired option is displayed press the 0 pad to save the setting and the 6 pad to exit the menu. If your display is still blank we would recommend unplugging the unit or resetting the breaker for 2 full minutes and reconnecting to the power source. Like other electronics or cell phones, sometimes they just need to reset. If the problem still persists, we would recommend service. Anything beyond basic trouble shooting would require a technician’s diagnosis. You can call GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this helps, feel free to reach out again with any other questions you may have. Have a great day!-Avery@GEA
