• Hi - Thank you for your patience as we researched your inquiry and for your interest in a new GE Appliances freezer. This freezer is rated at 1.45 amps (running) and we recommend providing 3x that amount to cover the surge when the compressor kicks on. All our best! Vikki@GEA
