Hello- We appreciate you checking with us. However, we aren't sure if this is the correct extension cord to use. We always recommend plugging the toaster oven into a grounded outlet. Never try to plug a three-pronged appliance into an un-grounded extension cord. You can use an extension cord with your toaster oven, provided the marked electrical rating of the cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance (1500 Watts). We recommend “appliance” type extension cords. Ensure the cord is arranged so that it cannot be pulled on by children or tripped over. We also, always recommend unplugging the extension cord when you are not using the appliance. We hope this is helpful! Joyce@GEA
