“Can you tell me why the Jx 827 Sfss has black sides. I want it to match the other stainless steel appliances in my high end kitchen but the black plastic sides don’t match. The only microwave that fits the opening is the GE Pem 31.”

Hi Davey- Thanks for choosing GE! Yes, there is some black visible on the side of the built-in trim kits for countertop microwaves. It is a design decision. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! SUEatGEA
