“Hello, I've got an island cubby that measures 26"h x 27"w x 14" d and need a microwave that will fit. I like the PEM31SFSS, is that the best one for the space? Will I have problems with it sliding around as we push the buttons or open the door? thx 4 help”

Hi measure2wicecut1nce- Thanks for viewing our Countertop Microwaves! PEM31SFSS is approximately 12 1/8" high x 24" wide x 12 7/8" deep. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We recommend 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" clearance in the rear. The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the countertop or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. If located on the counter near a range, we recommend locating it at least 2 feet away. Do not place near or above a heat source. Also, GE® 0.7 CU. FT. CAPACITY COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE OVEN JEM3072SHSS is approximately 10 1/8" high x 17 1/4" wide x 13" deep. Thanks for checking with us!
