Hi Ashley- This dishwasher has Condensate Dry which is an energy-efficient drying system on some dishwashers. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. No heating element is used. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. Thanks for considering GE. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
