The information you provided could not have been provided in fact and was misrepresented most likely as a means for GE to make more money. This after the fact that my built in microwave only lasted 3 1/2 years. in fact replaced it w/ another GE Profile. My existing trim fit the new profile perfectly. My original did not have a label indicating the model # and the GE customer service rep or you could find it w/ the serial # found on the back of the microwave.. Based on GEs poor performance (bad unit, bad customer advice and customer support) I’d like to ask for monetary compensation toward my purchase of a replacement Profile.

The microwave should not be used for any function if this cardboard cover is not in place or is damaged. We'll be glad to answer your question. This model has a variety of trim kits depending on the color you want. They all have model numbers beginning with JX72 either in 27" or 30". The colors available are BLTS (Black Stainless), FMDS (Black Slate), SLSS (Stainless Steel), or ELES (Slate). Just combine the numbers and letters of the combination you want and that will be the model number you need. For example JX7230FMDS (30" Black Slate). We hope this helps. Mike@GEA
