Q: QuestionI have in built microwave of capacity 1.8 cu.ft and size W X H x D = 23-7/8 x 13-9/16 x 18-13/16 requires replacement, which model will be suitable to replace this microwave and do I also require new trim strips ?

Q: QuestionMy question is that this microwave doesn't have any alerts or sounds to let you know the microwave has completed its time. Is this normal? My last comparable one had a few beeps when complete.

• A:Answer Hi DN - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE Profile Model PEB7227DLBB. This microwave does have an end-of-cycle signal (beeps). You can turn off all beeping sounds by pressing the Sound button so that MUTE shows on the display. Pressing the Sound button again will remove MUTE from the display and turns all beeping sounds back on. Q: QuestionI have a Kenmore Model 911 combination oven and microwave. The opening in my kitchen wall is only 28". The microwave unit has quit working. Can I replace only the microwave with the GE Profile Series above? Do I need a trim kit?

This model is compatible with 27" Trim Kit JX7227DLWW and 30" Trim Kit JX7230DLWW (sold separately). These kits allow built-in installation of the microwave oven into a wall or cabinet alone and are U.L. approved for installation over a GE single electric wall oven. It has not been approved for installation above other brands. Q: QuestionI’m looking at a Model PEB7227DL, 2.2 cu ft. Spec sheet indicates a width opening requirement of 25 31/50in. My width opening is 25 1/4. Will this possibly work ok. My previous Model JE1660WB fit fine & it is 23 5/8 wide.

Q: QuestionI need to replace a GE Spacemaker II, model number JEM25GY002. It is black. Unit is 23 25/32 x 11 3/16 tall x 12 9/32 deep. The hole in our cabinet is 24 7/8 x 15 x 12.5 deep. What do you suggest? I think the depth may present a bit of a problem.

• A:Answer Your depth should not be a problem as long as you have no obstructions such as existing electrical cables or pipes in your cut out if you do make sure and measure from shortest points in cut out good luck

• A:Answer Hi there, Based on our research, we are finding that this model is the closest to your old model that also has a trim kit. Trim kits are model specific as well.
