Screw GE - they will always answer that the trim kit is model specific and you have to buy their new kit. Buy a new trim kit off of ebay for just a little over $100. It is ridiculous that the older trim kits do not fit the new ones. That is why our landfills are full.

We do not recommend using the same trim kit or brackets, when it comes to our built-in microwaves, you will want to use the hardware and trim kit that is specific for that model. PCWK22U1WDD is compatible with the following trim kits: JX7227BLTS, JX7230BLTS, JX7227FMDS, JX7230FMDS, JX7227SLSS, JX7230SLSS, JX7227ELES, JX7230ELES.
