new microwave is just enough wider and longer that the old does not fit. Screw holes are not the same and the bases design is taller in places. I altered my old one and made it work but it sticks out about 1 inch more than the old. Biggest problem is it is deeper than the old one and sets higher on the base unless you do some creative bending. I needed mine asap for the holiday meal so I made it work.
