Hi There - The information you provided could not have been provided in fact and was misrepresented most likely as a means for GE to make more money. This after the fact that my built in microwave only lasted 3 1/2 years. in fact replaced it w/ another GE Profile. My existing trim fit the new profile perfectly. My original did not have a label indicating the model # and the GE customer service rep or you could find it w/ the serial # found on the back of the microwave.. Based on GEs poor performance (bad unit, bad customer advice and customer support) I’d like to ask for monetary compensation toward my purchase of a replacement Profile.
