“I am replacing a very old built-in microwave that is 24" wide. Can the PEB7227DL be installed without a trim kit? If not, can you recommend a 24" built-in microwave?”

Mine had to installed with the trim kit. It would have looked weird without the trim kit.

We appreciate your interest in one of our GE Appliances microwaves to replace your older model. Model PEB7227DL would require a trim kit for installation. Our built-in microwaves do need a trim kit to ensure proper installation and air flow, and at this time our trim kits will fit openings of approximately 27” or 30”.
