Hi Momof3- Thanks for choosing GE. We certainly appreciate your loyalty! Starting August 2017, all models have white LED (green prior to Aug. 2017). If interested, you can turn the clock display off on the microwave. Simply hold the Display On/Off pad for 3 seconds. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
