“I have a very old but awesome microwave that is finally on its last leg after 20 years or so. I have the GE Monogram profile JE1860 1.8 cu ft. (along with the Trim kit 27") Is this model compatible? I would have to order another trim kit?”

We offer a variety of countertop microwaves, but only select models can be installed in a cabinet for a built-in look using a trim kit. This specific model is a countertop only model and we apologize for any disappointment this may cause. - However, we would recommend the PEB7227DLBB model that offers a similar appearance and sensor cooking features and is built-in compatible! Because trim kits are model specific, the JX7227DLBB 27" trim kit will be required for its installation. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model so that the trim kit fits the microwave and provides the proper air flow that it needs.
