Hello. We appreciate your interest in our refrigerator, and we’re glad to advise. Regarding what cup you can use in the dispenser, that would depend on the size of the cup rather than how many ounces it holds. The largest container size we would recommend would be 8” tall and 6” wide. If it might be helpful, we discuss the dispenser in more detail on page 11 of the manual, linked here: https://files.bbystatic.com/usQqfOQHeuJoYHb3aqvZJA%3D%3D/d42de2c1-d240-46d5-93d4-b65b31f21851.pdf . We certainly understand your concern about your drain pipe, but as we don’t know exactly where the pipe is located in relation to the refrigerator, we wouldn’t be able to advise whether there’s enough clearance. If you are planning on cutting the pipe/aren’t using it, we would advise cutting it off completely so it doesn’t come in contact with the refrigerator; otherwise, it may be in the way of internal components. The ice maker is designed to produce seven cubes per cycle, or approximately 100 to 130 cubes in a 24 hour period. This can vary depending on the temperature of the freezer, room temperature, how often the door is opened, etc. We hope this information is helpful! If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re always happy to offer assistance. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
