The filter indicator light will reset automatically when the correct filter has been properly installed. Check to be sure you purchased the XWFE filter. Try removing the new filter and reinstalling it. If the light doesn't reset, install the AutoFill pitcher and turn it on to see if the pitcher will fill. If the issue persists, check to see if you can exchange the filter and try it again.
