The Cafe handles and knobs are unique to the Cafe line of products. You would not be able to purchase them for use on this cooktop. As far as the White finish goes, we are finding that it has a glossy finish, not a matte finish like the Matte White from the Cafe line. We hope that this helped to clear things up! Our GE Profile™ 30" Built-In Gas Cooktop PGP9030SLSS has control lock capability to protect against unintended activation. To lock the cooktop and prevent unwanted use, turn the control lock knob clockwise to Locked. An indicator light will illuminate when the cooktop is locked. When locked, gas flow to the burners is prevented. Burners will spark if a knob is turned, but will not ignite. To unlock, turn the control lock knob to Unlocked. Thanks for your interest! Sue
