The representative is correct. It is a regular oven that is used for baking and broiling, and it is used for steam cleaning. NOTE: There is a mode button on the stove that you press to do these functions including steam cleaning. Follow instructions in the manual to put water in the oven to steam clean it. Again, the same oven area is used for baking, broiling, and steam cleaning. The bottom drawer is for storage. I was surprised also :)
